Plant to Plate was set up to teach children about growing their own food.

 

Volunteers meet with P1, P2 and P3 children from Cumbrae Primary School on Mondays during term time in the garden at Cumbrae Parish Church, helping to maintain the garden and polycrub.

The children are enthusiastic and eager to learn, and the group has great fun working together in the garden.

 

More volunteers are needed, as the garden has to be maintained throughout the year. Anyone who would like to help will be made very welcome.
