The Girls’ Brigade is an international Christian youth organisation. Its aim is to help girls become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and, through self-control, reverence and a sense of responsibility, to find true enrichment of life.

The motto of Girls’ Brigade is ‘Seek, Serve and Follow Christ’. At 1st Largs, girls take part in a range of activities based around spiritual, physical, educational and service activities.

 

Leaders are appointed by the Kirk Session, trained by Girls’ Brigade, and work hard to support and encourage the girls.
