Cumbrae Bible Study meets every Thursday morning at 11am in the Fishbowl at the Garrison.

 

This central venue was chosen because it is close to the GP practice, the Garrison Café and the Library, allowing anyone passing by to join if they wish.

The group currently has around 18 people, occasionally including fellow islanders from the Church of Our Lady and the Cathedral of The Isles.

 

Rather than using a study guide, the group reads and explores the meaning and application of God's Word for individual lives and for the church family.

The group is currently reading Matthew's Gospel, and often alternates with an Old Testament book. It is led by Rev. Marjory Mackay, but everyone is welcome to contribute.
